One Wear Clothing Company, LLC was founded by Gregory “One” Jones in Stamford, CT in 2009. The brand’s story began in the summer of 2003, when Jones, known by his nickname “O.N.E.” was a young man trying to make a name for himself in the fashion industry. Growing up in Stamford, Connecticut in the 80’s, he had always been interested in fashion and had always been on top of the latest trends. However, as he grew older, he found that more and more people were able to purchase the same exclusive and high-priced clothing that he was able to buy. This realization sparked the idea to put his name on his clothes, so no one else would be able to wear the same outfits as him.

One day, Jones was hanging out with his friend Tommy B., and Tommy asked him what he would call his brand if it became a business. Jones replied, “I would name it after me, One Wear, like RocaWear or Wu Wear, my joint would be called One Wear, One Wear Clothing Company.” This idea stuck with Jones, and he started to experiment with different designs and styles.

Jones began by airbrushing his name on a few shirts, and this quickly caught on with his friends and family. He started to gain a reputation as someone who was always on top of the latest fashion trends, and his clothing became sought after by many. As his popularity grew, Jones decided to take his hobby to the next level, and in 2009, he incorporated One Wear Clothing Company, LLC.
